The 2010 season, despite the initial adverse weather conditions which undermined the “harvest" of acacia, turned to be a really good year.

The placement of bee hives has allowed easy access to sunflowers, lavender and to spontaneous flowers. This has brought to unique characteristics. This botanical variety allows for a different honey every year,  in colour, aroma and flavour,  so that it would be more correct to speak of "honeys" and not "honey".
Our research for this diversity and complexity leads us to undergo honey extraction  only once, in late summer, when all the major blooms have gone.
The natural crystallization in our honey testifies  the absence of any heat treatment that would deplete the important elements of the honey, such as minerals, vitamins and enzymes.

The 2010 season was a very good one, for both quantity and quality.

  • Serving suggestions: steamed fish, salads, it enhances the quality of cooked and uncooked dishes

Our  extra virgin olive oil ‘L’Oro della Collina’ comes exclusively from our own olives. It is characterized by a clean-cut character and by the distinct flavours of the area where it is produced.
Low acidity and aromas typical of local cultivations are mantained thanks to the hand picking tradition and to the immediate cold pressing, which guarantee an excellent quality oil.
